Getting started

What does BlueBlocks help with?

We help businesses clarify technology needs, source relevant providers and understand proposal differences. Coverage includes cybersecurity, cloud, AI and automation, ERP, integration, migrations and technology retirement, shaped around your industry.

Do I need a technical brief?

No. Start with a business challenge, a defined requirement or a question about your current IT. Our team helps identify the next questions and what should be included in the brief.

What does a free consultation include?

An initial conversation helps us understand the business situation and the appropriate next step. It is not an unlimited technical assessment. Work requiring substantial specialist time is scoped and quoted before you decide whether to proceed.

Can discovery itself be a project?

Yes. An assessment can have its own requirement, proposals, deliverables and agreed findings format. You decide whether to commission that assessment and separately consider any later implementation.

Can small businesses use BlueBlocks?

Yes. The requirement can reflect a single location, a growing business or a larger operation. Describe your existing systems, available team and constraints so the work is proportionate to your situation.

Providers and proposals

Can I invite a provider I already know?

Yes. You can include an existing provider alongside relevant alternatives. A new participant completes the appropriate company and representative checks before accessing private requirements or quoting.

Who decides which providers to approach?

Your organisation decides whom to invite. BlueBlocks helps identify suitable options and clarify the information needed to compare their proposals.

Are provider profiles publicly listed?

No. The network is private. Relevant provider information is shared through the authorised sourcing process; the website does not publish a supplier directory.

Can I compare local and offshore delivery?

Yes. Compare the contracting entity, actual team locations, support hours, on-site needs, information access and handover. A country label alone does not establish quality or suitability.

What should a comparable proposal include?

Scope, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, prices, delivery responsibilities and ongoing support. A proposal should identify the requirement version it answers and make unresolved items clear.

Does BlueBlocks choose the winner?

No. We help clarify the requirement and proposal differences. Your organisation makes the selection and contracts directly with the chosen provider.

Delivery and ongoing records

Who delivers the service?

The selected provider is responsible for its contracted services. BlueBlocks supports sourcing, comparison and coordination. The service agreement identifies the responsibilities and remedies agreed between your organisation and the provider.

Can we keep our existing ways of working?

Yes. Discuss the support your organisation needs and the arrangements that work for your team. BlueBlocks helps keep the procurement conversation clear while you agree the working relationship directly with your selected provider.

Can BlueBlocks help with ongoing IT needs?

Yes. You can return with another project, review an ongoing support need or explore the next technology improvement. We help bring your existing context into the next requirement and provider conversation.

What happens if there is a delivery concern?

BlueBlocks can help document the issue and coordinate discussions. The contracting parties decide the resolution and any remedy under their agreement.

Do we have to replace our current provider?

No. A requirement might involve a review, a specialist project or additional support alongside an existing relationship. Be clear about the responsibilities that remain with your current provider.

Verification and access

What does verification establish?

Verification records specific company and representative checks. Capability evidence, qualifications, availability and project fit need their own assessment. Ask what was checked, when and which questions remain open.

Does verification guarantee delivery?

No. It does not automatically guarantee performance, insurance, legal compliance or successful delivery. Review evidence relevant to the specific work and agree the service responsibilities before committing.

Does an enquiry create an account?

No. Public enquiries are reviewed privately by the BlueBlocks team. They do not automatically create an account, publish an RFQ or share your message with providers.

How do providers join?

Introduce your company through the application form. Our team follows up about company identity, the responsible representative, capabilities and delivery coverage before arranging appropriate access.

What should I leave out of the public form?

Do not include passwords, identity-document copies, private customer records or confidential system exports. Describe the requirement at a high level; the team can discuss an appropriate way to handle further information.
